For our team, the Forsthofgut is like a home away from home: to make this home as cosy and inviting as possible, the accommodations for our employees are modern, bright and spacious. In combination with the new Team Forsthofgut Campus, a space is created in which team life feels more like family life.
The history of the Schmuck family at Forsthofgut began in 1905. A lot has changed since then and the former farm has grown into a luxury hotel. The foundations for this were laid by senior boss Rupert Schmuck and his wife Rosmarie, who converted the farm into a hotel. In 2006, Christoph Schmuck took over the Forsthofgut and, together with his wife Christina, created an extraordinary place: a place where guests as well as employees can feel at home.
We are grateful and proud of our team and we want our employees to feel this appreciation with the new Team Forsthofgut Campus.
The 1,300 m2 campus will be the centre of team life at Forsthofgut. A place for creativity and further training, for sport and health, for leisure and entertainment, for eating and drinking and for the life and living of each individual.
The employees themselves determine how the campus develops, what feeling it spreads, the atmosphere of the campus. This is where hidden talents come to the fore, where new connections are made and the team takes responsibility for its very own place. Our five pillars, which provide inspiration, ideas and goals, are the foundation for this development and the cornerstone for the team spirit.

The Forsthofgut is a workplace where every detail is designed with love. The satisfaction of our employees is just as important to us as the well-being of our guests. That's why we not only provide cosy accommodation for our employees, but also invite you to take part in weekly leisure activities. In winter, we explore the slopes of the ski region together, go on a hiking tour or conquer the Epic Bikepark Leogang in summer.
In Saalfelden-Leogang we offer a variety of different, comfortably equipped staff accommodation, depending on availability: whether single, double or shared rooms. These "homes away from home" are ideal place to land in the region, a retreat after work and a place to meet and make new friends with other Team Forsthofgut members.

Leogang in the province of Salzburg with more than 3,000 inhabitants is located at 788 m above sea level. Nestled in the Leoganger Rocky Mountain and the Kitzbüheler Alps, there are plenty of outdoor activities, coupled with varied events in summer and winter.
How about a day of swimming at the nearby Zeller See, a ride on the toboggan run at the Asitz, or a visit to a museum? In winter, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and the surrounding winter landscape await you for numerous activities. The Epic Bikepark in Leogang offers a variety of challenges. It enjoys an excellent reputation throughout Europe as the venue of the Downhill World Cup and the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Championships. In total, biking enthusiasts have nine mountain railways with over 80 km of lines & trails on seven mountains in the area at their disposal.
The region offers plenty of variety. And the Forsthofgut is the perfect starting point for nature and sports enthusiasts all year round. In addition, we offer leisure activities at the hotel such as team sports courses and take part together in festivals or sporting events such as the Wings for Life Run.

Even though the individual towns in the region are firmly connected, our team enjoys being mobile. This is the only way to comfortably explore the most beautiful corners of the region and the only way for employees to quickly get back to their daily routine. That's why we offer various alternatives for team members without a car.
Together with the Kaufmann Unterberger car dealership in Zell am See, we offer a staff shuttle: six electric BMW i3s with elegant Forsthofgut branding. They are available for employees without a car. The Staff Shuttle can be assigned directly to individual team members according to availability. It's also possible to borrow the BMW i3 on a daily basis for excursions or shopping.
In addition to the Staff Shuttle, there is also the possibility of car sharing in Leogang. The environmentally friendly concept was initiated by the municipality and the Bergbahnen Leogang. The cars can be rented by the Forsthofgut team free of charge on an hourly basis, and pick-up and return are uncomplicated. This offer is open to all employees in the region.
